We understand that plans can change. This policy explains how we handle cancellations and refunds at Jeepa Travel Sikkim. Because we pre-book hotels and transport to ensure your comfort, we follow a structured timeline for cancellations.
If you need to cancel your trip, please report us in writing via email as soon as possible. The following charges will apply based on when we receive your request:
Travel in Sikkim depends heavily on weather and road conditions. Sometimes, landslides or heavy snow can block roads to areas like North Sikkim or Nathula Pass.
As mentioned in our booking policy, entry to certain areas requires government permits. If the local authorities deny a permit for security or safety reasons, we cannot be held responsible. In such a situation, we will adjust the itinerary to accessible areas. No refunds are provided for permit rejections, as these are beyond our control.
If you do not arrive on the scheduled start date of your tour without informing us, it will be treated as a “No-Show.” No refund will be provided in this situation.
Once a refund is approved, we will process the payment through the original booking method or via bank transfer. Please be patient for 7 to 10 working days for the amount to show in your account. The actual time may vary depending on your bank’s policies.
If you cannot travel but have a friend or family member who wants to take your place, please let us know. We may be able to transfer the booking to them. This depends on whether hotels and permit offices allow name changes at that time.
For any cancellation requests or questions about this policy, please contact our Gangtok office.
