Overview
The Dzongri Trek is one of the most rewarding short Himalayan treks in Sikkim for travellers who want grand mountain scenery without committing to the longer Goechala expedition. Starting from historic Yuksom, the trail climbs through the wild beauty of Khangchendzonga National Park, passing hanging bridges, deep oak and magnolia forests, rhododendron-covered slopes, and the old highland settlement of Tsokha before reaching the alpine zone of Dzongri. The defining moment of the trek is the sunrise climb to Dzongri Top, where Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Kabru, Rathong, Koktang, and Narsing rise across the skyline in an unforgettable panorama. This Dzongri Trek package is ideal for fit beginners and regular trekkers looking for a moderate adventure, rich forest scenery, strong visual rewards, and one of the classic trekking experiences in West Sikkim.
